Pursuant to the articles 9 and 12 of the Law on Associations and Foundations of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnia and Herzegovina Official Gazette, vol. 32/01), the Foundation Assembly, convened on 28 th of March 2005, has adopted
THE STATUTE
OF THE ASSOCIATION “OKSIGEN”
This Statute regulates the name and the seat of the Association; aims and goals of the association; procedures for adoption and expulsion of members; the bodies of the association, elections and powers, voting procedures, term of office, conditions and procedures for cessation of activity; regulations for acquisition of assets and funds and the use thereof; transparency; procedures for changing and amending the Statute, procedures for adopting bylaws; the description of the shape and contents of the official seal; representation of the association; conditions and procedures for accession, transformation, or cessation of activity of the association; procedures for managing the property and assets in case of dissolution or cessation of activities of the association.

NAME AND SEAT
The name of the Association is: Udruženje OKSIGEN; ???????? ???????; Udruga OKSIGEN;
The name of the Association in English is: OXYGEN.
The seat of the Association is in Banja Luka, Ramići bb.
The official seal of the Association is of a round shape and contains text in Latin and Cyrillic scripts as well as in English language, and has the logo of the Association in the centre.
The logo of the Association is a stylised rectangle in yellow and purple, inside of which is the inscription OKSIGEN in block capitals.

The Association is a legal entity, with all the rights, obligations and responsibilities ensuing from the Law and this Statute. The Association shall be registered with the relevant authority. The Association is a non-profit organisation. The work of the Association is public.

AIMS AND GOALS
The aim of this Association is to:
-
promote building and advancement of the civil society through its media products
-
protect and promote the respect of democratic principles following the example of the EU countries
-
organise different public gatherings like conferences, conventions, panel discussions, lectures, seminars, improvement courses, concerts, exhibitions, etc.
-
promote and work on education of the journalists in order to develop media.
The Association is autonomous in its work and decision making.......
