My name is Igor Tadic. I was born in 1976 in Banja Luka.
I fell in love with radio when I was 10, while I was listening
to numerous radio stations, many of which I fondly remember.
What the writer wanted to say? I'll try to explain. Namely,
in the late eighties and early nineties, I was a passionate
radio listener and thanks to this love I used to win many
interesting radio competitions.
I believe I bored many employees to death at those radio
stations because of my frequent phone calls. I didn't care
because I was obsessed with radio.
My first contact with a radio job was when I made telephone
reports for a local radio in which I talked about events in
my hometown.
The period between 1991 and 1995, besides the events that
changed our lives, was also significant for the influence
it had on my contact with radio. After that break, better
times came, which meant that my dream came true. I got a job
as a sound operator in A-radio and a year later I started
to work in Nes and Nezavisni radio.
My work with radio changed in 1998 when I became a radio
correspondent for the UN radio in Sarajevo.
After a year working for the UN radio, I achieved what I have
always wanted, which was to work with wonderful listeners,
a great team and an excellent work concept. All this was combined
in SFM radio, which in 2000 changed its name to Oksigen FM
and strengthened my love for radio.
Therefore, thanks to Oksigen radio for being always "all
around us".
